This work has surprised me in many ways, but first and foremost by its neatness, its aim towards the authentic relationship. For those qualities to be found ( maybe even dug out in oneself ) one needs to see a lot of different world, of returns. The photographs of Edis Jurcys are marked precisely by his eye, the experience behind it, which allows one to expect grace: an opening, a scintillation, an apparition. Such dynamics, expression, such writing seems incredible, impossible to capture.
These are works of a great master, but master not only of techniques, more of spiritual experience, the skill to see multifaceted structures of the world, the material, corporeal and spiritual layers.
