"Thread", the first publication by Edis, is a compendium of B&W photographs collected over 25 years. The subjects of the images are wide ranging and eclectic.
Edis' observations of people express great depth, sensitivity and originality. He manages to magnify both sacred and trivial things, giving them dignity and respect while capturing honest feelings with his unique perspective. Some of the photographs are mystical, seeing reflections of reflections, as if we lived in the kingdom of mirrors - in a world where images represent images that imagine themselves.
